After a long break, monthly updates are back here at CarrollSun!
The season is fully underway as both teams prepare to compete at SunChase '24 hosted by Florida Gulf Coast University this upcoming April. This year, two teams have begun the designing and brainstorming process by sketching outlines of possible cars and reworking old creations from years past.
Teams were able to discuss different ideas for design considerations in order to ensure the most effective car. They are beginning to consider wind and solar panel configuration with respect to their designs. Both teams are also heavily researching new strategies with respect to the new rules.
Both teams are looking foward to finishing their new cars and testing them next semester!
